 A Touch of English Bed and Breakfast is located in Kelowna, British Columbia. Situated within a scenic range of mountains, Kelowna is filled with beautiful lakes, forests, orchards and vineyards, beaches, and superb amenities. Lake Okanagan stretches from north to south of the Okanagan Valley for about 110 kms (68 miles). Kelowna, with a population of 107,000, is the valley’s largest community.
The city of Kelowna offers a variety of activities. Located in the area are various golf courses, wineries, Lake Okanagan, ski hills, hiking trails, and beautiful orchards.
Transportation to Kelowna is fairly simple from almost anywhere. The Kelowna International Airport easily connects to major North American cities.
Kelowna has miles of beautiful parkland and several sandy beaches for boating, swimming, water-skiing, windsurfing and fishing. As well, you can tee off at one of the many golf courses during nine months of the year. In the cooler months, the snow-capped mountains are a favourite with skiers, boarders, snowmobilers and outdoor adventurists.
Orchards and vineyards are within a ten minute drive from downtown and provide seasonal delights year round. Visit some of the renowned wineries in the valley. The Spring, Summer and Fall Wine Festivals offer hundreds of activities focused on wine making, tasting and touring.
