the mighty Lake Okanagan from Penticton BC you'll find
the quaint Tudor-themed town of Summerland.
Here long country lanes wind through the Okanagan orchards and
vineyards with views of green mountains, desert-scapes
and crystal blue waters. Roadside fruit stands
overflow with cherries, apricots, strawberries,
peaches, pears, apples and more bounty of the land.
Estate wineries dot the hillsides of the Okanagan
Valley and throw open
their doors for one and all to taste the fruits of
their labours. Sandy beaches beckon and during
the long hot summers of this gloriously temperate
region Lake Okanagan offers up water sports of every
kind, from swimming, water-skiing and wake boarding
to fishing.
